The problem

Prof. Dr. Ehab El Refaee organizes the Cairo and Greifswald fellowship in neuroendoscopy, and its first cycle starts on 8 January 2027. Every session needs someone to teach it, and the organizers have to see straight away which places are still empty.

What I built

I'm now building Course Binder for the fellowship. Organizers get the whole academic calendar on one screen: what is taught, when, by whom, and what is still missing. Faculty sign in, choose what they'll teach and pick a session and a date. Fellows come in a later phase.

How it works

  1. The overview asks how ready the calendar is. It counts confirmed lecture places against the total and lists what needs the organizer's attention.
  2. The same programme can be read as a month, a timeline, a list of modules or the curriculum.
  3. A faculty member first says what kind of contribution they'll make. Then they pick the module and the topic, and topics that still need a lecture sit at the top.
  4. Then they choose a date and a time. Times are shown in Berlin time with their own time beside it, and the organizer approves each choice.
  5. The pictures use placeholder names, and no faculty photos appear on this site.
